Universities I've Attended/Worked For
(Somewhere along the line)
My academic career has been somewhat peripatetic. Below you'll find the schools I've attended. Check them out -- I've been pleased with each of them.
| Western was my first taste of college life. Go Toppers! (Summer 1982) |
| Transy -- we've heard all the jokes, but it remains a good liberal arts school. Go Pioneers! (1983-85) |
| Northern -- my wife's alma mater, and a terrific Honors Program experience. Go Norse! (1986) |
| Excelsior -- a non-traditional school, but I love the idea of knowing no one at my college reunion. (B.A., 1987) |

| Kentucky -- More than a basketball team. They play football too. By the way, they even teach literature. Go Cats! (M.A., 1992) |
| Ball State -- The advantages of a big school with the attention you receive at a small one. Go Cards! (Ph.D., 2002) |
| Newberry College -- My new home, in Newberry, SC. Liberal Arts education with a focus on the whole student. We're also the smallest college in the country with a scholarship football program. Go Indians! |
