ACADEMIC BENEFITS

A seminar/discussion oriented series of classes which
encourage you to speak your mind, and emphasize interdisciplinary thought.

Six of the seven Honors courses count for Core Curriculum
credit (so you don't need to worry about being here an extra year to
graduate).

Students understand more about involvement in the community
through our service learning program.

You can register for up to 21 hours of classes at
the standard rate (other students pay overload starting at 18 hours).

With graduation your diploma will include your graduation from the Summerland Honors Program, and your name
is placed on a plaque in Holland Hall.
FUN BENEFITS

Access to the Summerland Honors House (at the corner of
College and Pope Streets), 24/7.
There are comfy chairs/couch, a kitchen (including some food), a TV, DVD player, & VCR, and a computer room with Internet access and printer.

An honors program T-shirt (a new shirt is developed each
year during the first month of the
fall semester).
