WHERE CAN I RECYCLE ON CAMPUS? Suites of three stacked bins have been placed around campus. They are multicolored as follows: Blue for paper | Green for plastic bottles | Yellow for aluminum cans Academic Buildings: * Keller Hall (1) - first floor by stairs at quad side of building * McClurg Learning Center (1) - first floor at the printer machine [also, second floor (placed out by Dr. Mitchell)] * Music Building - in preparation * Science and Math Building (3) - first, second and third floors * Summerland Honors House (1) - by back door * Wessels Library (1) - right next to front door * Wright Hall (Academic Skills Center) - in preparation Physical Education Buildings: * Eleazer - in preparation * McLean - in preparation Residence Halls: * Brokaw Dorm (3) - first, second and third floor hallways * Cromer Hall (2) - first and second floor hallways * Derrick Hall (3) - first floor hallway (Student Affairs office area), second and third floors (end of hall, Kinard end) * East Hall (3) - first, second and third floor utililty rooms * Kinard Hall - in preparation * Smeltzer Hall (1) - main lobby Several dorms have informal recycling programs using cardboard boxes. Large blue cans can be spotted around campus. * Wessels Library - in copier room * Kauffman Post Office Many small recycling bins are located in faculty and staff offices. We hope to soon place large blue collection bins in all academic and administrative buildings as centralized collections points. Additional bins will be placed on campus in the near future. |
