BIOLOGY 201: BOTANY – FALL 2011

SELECTING A BOTANICAL PAPER SPECIES

 

As you think about an select a species to work on, please e-mail me (charles.horn@newberry.edu) with your choosen plant's common and scientific name so I can add it to this list.  The rules are:

  1. The plant you choose must be a vascular plant (so no algae, mosses or similar organisms).
  2. You cannot use Marijuana (Cannabis sativa) or Cocaine (Erythoxylon coca); these have been overused and there is too much non-botanical information about these in the literature..
  3. You cannot use a plant already posted to this page.
